Momma To Go readers know that my family loves our visits to Southwest Florida! One question I get all the time, and I haven’t been able to answer – is what this the best resort in Naples? On our visits, we stay in a family condo, but I’ve been wanting to scope out some of the local hotels! Well now I can say I have the best Naples hotel recommendation! I am so excited to share my Edgewater Beach Hotel Naples, Florida Review with you!

Edgewater Hotel Naples, Florida Review
In the past, I’ve written all about the best Naples Activities, how to relax in SW Florida and even podcasted about how SW FL is the best family friendly destination! And all of this running around Southwest Florida has been done while staying at my parent’s condos (their first one was in South Ft. Myers and their current one is in Naples). So I was super excited to have the opportunity to check out the Edgewater Beach Hotel on our recent Naples, Florida trip.
Oceanfront Hotels in Naples Florida
The Edgewater Beach hotel is the ONLY all-suites hotel right on the beach in Naples, Florida. If you are looking for an oceanfront hotel in Naples, look no further! The hotel consists of one and two bedroom suites, all equipped with a kitchen, living room, dining room and balcony/patio. A one-bed has one bathroom and a two-bedroom unit has two bathrooms. Perfect for families of all sizes!
There are only 125 rooms, making the Edgewater a small, boutique property providing a true oasis for travelers looking to unwind and relax.

The Edgewater Beach Hotel Amenities
Now I’m not sure why you would come to SW Florida and not stay on the beach! The Edgewater is the location you want to be in! Situated right on the Gulf of Mexico, you can walk down from your fabulous suite, through the pool area, right onto the sand. Once on the beach, the staff will take care of all your needs, be it beach chairs, umbrellas, cabanas, beach beds or kayak/paddleboard rentals, it’s all right there.
If the pool is your water sport of choice – the Edgewater has two for your use! There is one pool for all guests, and another that provides two lap lanes for those looking to swim for exercise. Both pools are heated and open year round.
The views from the pool and on the beach are incredible. Every detail is cared to. There are sand toys, shovels and buckets provided for the kids. At the pool there is a “mega-chess” set, a giant connect four and cornhole. Around the pool there are plenty of chairs and at the west end of the pool deck there is a fire pit.
Dining at The Edgewater Beach Hotel
There are two restaurants at the Edgewater Beach Hotel. The Coast is the indoor eatery that serves breakfast, lunch and dinner. The Pool Bar also serves food from 11am until sunset. And what a great place to view a SW Florida sunset!
The restaurants have interesting food menus and what I love about the Edgewater is their extensive cocktail menu! They take the art of vacation very seriously at the Edgewater Beach Resort bars!
On our recent visit, I enjoyed a delicious burrata salad (love the healthy and vegetarian options) and mom had a cheeseburger. Baby girl ordered pizza off the kid’s menu.
One of the Best Hotels Downtown Naples Florida
In addition to being right on the beach, The Edgewater Beach Hotel is in a central location but in a quiet neighborhood, adding to its intimate feel. The Edgewater is conveniently situated for those wanting to venture into downtown Naples, out for a day on the links, or to one of the many museums or near-by attractions. There is a hotel shuttle that provides transportation to and from Fifth Street in Naples.
Edgewater Beach Resort Naples Review
My readers know I love a good boutique hotel. I’m a huge fan of staying in a suite when traveling with my family. I love the extra space and separation an additional bedroom provides. We are a beach family and love being able to roll out of bed and head down to the sand. We love a good cocktail menu and the opportunity to sit back, and relax with a good drink.
And you can find all that at the Edgewater Beach Hotel.
But what sets the Edgewater apart is the staff. It is immediately evident that the folks who work there from the valet, to the concierge, to the attendants on the beach, love what they do and care about your experience. I can see how over a weeklong stay, the server at Coast, or the pool bartender would become a friend you would be sad to leave behind. Which is why I was not surprised to learn that repeat guests make up a huge segment of their business.
On our recent stay, it was immediately evident that the staff goes out of their way to greet the guests by name and take care of their every desire.
We had a great day at the Edgewater, one of the premier luxury hotels in Naples Florida . I literally had to drag baby girl out of the pool when it was time to go (and we were sent off with fresh cookies from the lobby). I cannot wait to return, and I know your family will love your stay at the Edgewater Beach Hotel!

UPDATE: Many of you have asked about the microphone I am wearing in the FB live – I highly recommend buying one of these if you plan to do video, or livestream especially outside. It plugs into your phone earphone jack and you wear the microphone (it was clipped to my back, but not attached to the phone)

This hotel looks so relaxing! My daughter loves giant connect 4 (they have one at a brewery near us), and playing with sand toys so this would be ideal.

I’m one of those people guilty of only going to Florida when it’s to visit Disney World, and occasionally Miami to see family. But I’ve been hearing a bit about Naples – and this resort looks like a great time; seems like they have many amenities!
The Edgewater Beach Hotel is beautiful, and I agree with you that it’s all about the view. Since we travel often as a family, I like the option of an all suite hotel.
I’ve been to Naples but only drove through so, next time, I will definitely check out this hotel as it looks so beautiful!

I have family living in Naples but if I ever need another place to stay than I think the Edgewater looks like a hit.
Since we have a timeshare we can use, we stay at suite hotels from time to time and although I don’t require tons of space, I do love it when we have it. This place looks like it has a fabulous beach. We went for a short trip to Florida this winter and decided we have to go back again to explore more of the beach areas. This looks like a great choice.
