Last week, my family had the most fun sailing on the worlds largest cruise ship, Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the seas. This ship just started service in January 2024, and is sailing week long itineraries out of Miami, Florida. I know in our area there has been a ton of commercials for the ship and lots of posts on social media, but is the Icon of the Seas really worth the hype and the high price tag? Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady Ship Tour

The Scarlet Lady has recently set sail! Back in September 2021, I had the pleasure of touring her from top to bottom, spending an incredible day aboard this new, adults only cruise ship. Last week, I finally got to sail on Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady on a 5-night Dominican Daze itinerary. Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam – Full Ship Review

Cruising is one of my favorite vacations and with sailing paused for over a year, I was so excited to finally be back at sea! My first cruise in 2021 was aboard Holland America’s Nieuw Amsterdam and it was a great sailing. Our itinerary was a seven night cruise, round trip out of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
