The week between Christmas and New Year’s we usually spend at home, watching movies, going to New York City to see the Rockefeller Center tree, and visiting with friends and family. But since none of that was happening in 2020 (and we had spent plenty of time at home watching movies) we decided a family getaway was in order. We headed to the Caribbean island of Antigua, for six nights at the Royalton Antigua resort. Our trip was honestly so-so and we were very disappointed in many aspects of our stay. This summer I visited Walt Disney World with my family. Despite the global pandemic I still really wanted to have a character meal. The only character meal available on property this summer (without a park ticket) was Breakfast ala Art with Mickey and Friends at Topolino‘s Terrace. It sure has been one crazy summer. If you had asked me seven months ago what I envisioned summer 2020 to look like it definitely would not have involved a 1300 mile drive over eight states, and two and a half months spent in Florida. But as we all know 2020 gave us lemons and we decided to turn our summer into lemonade.
